Metro PCS vs Sprint

Metro PCS vs Sprint? This question has been asked many times and people generally give the wrong answer. Here is our answer towards this question. Being a Sprint customer for almost six years and a customer who also had Metro PCS, they’re both almost the same. You will see though that Metro PCS offers more for the money and their service is on a mass expansion compared to Sprint.

As far as the money goes, Metro PCS gives you much more for your dollar. Sprint on the other had is VERY EXPENSIVE when compared to Metro PCS. Both with their phones and the plans.

When it comes to the network, based on trial an error. Metro PCS has come a far way from the last on the list to be a worthy competitor of Sprint. Based on our testing, there were times when we were in different spots that Metro PCS was much more better than Sprint. Sprint boasts on its network, however Metro so far has a better network coverage wise vs Sprint. This is based on the towers being in the same rural area. This is also based on making calls, not browsing the internet via the phone devices.

Sprint boast of their 4G network, but where are the phones to support this network? 🙂
This is like building a road with NO CARS to drive on it. Does this make any sense?

Customer service, Sprint has a better customer service, however there are agents who tend to log calls to cover their ass. Meaning they often make you look like the lier just to cover their tracks. Metro PCS is working on building their customer service. They have come from a far.

Contracts. Sprint wants to get you into a contract. Metro PCS, you only need to buy a phone and you typically get the first month of service free. If you have a Sprint phone, most of the time you can have Metro PCS flash it with their software. However sometimes you will have certain limitations.

Features, Metro PCS has some pretty nice features like their Caller ID. Meaning, you can see who is calling even if their are not stored in your phone book. It is not brought to our attention that Sprint has this feature.

International Calls, Metro has a plan where you can make international calls to 100 countries for only $5. This includes unlimited calling to those countries. Sprint does NOT have this feature or anything close. You would think that a company like Sprint that has been around all these years would have something like this.

Text Messages, Metro PCS gives you unlimited international text message. Sprint charges you $0.20 per international text message sent or received.

Is Life Insurance Really That Important?

Many people even ones in business overlook the importance of having life insurance.  Life Insurance, known to many as death insurance is not as bad as it seems.  Look at it this way:  if you were in a situation where you had a lot of bills and you died, did you know that your family (wife or husband especially) gets hounded by bill collectors trying to collect that debt?  Life insurance in important and can be as cheap as $199 a year for a $1,000,000 policy, maybe even less depending on who you go through.  What that means is, if you die and owe say $100,000 in bad debt, your family is safe… taking into consideration that you had a decent life insurance plan with at least $250,000 coverage.  With that amount, your family could be taken care of.  They could pay off that debt, put the kids through college, possibly buy a home, or even start and expand a business.  This money could be used for many things.

SCAMMER PHONE LIST

We are starting a list of known and new scammers.  Basically these are people who call you to SCAM you money or your personal information.

In this project we will be:

  1. Mass calling them back and jam up their lines, which will prevent them from calling back out for a period of time.  This will also run up their phone bills.
  2. Do a mass complaint to the correct govermental agencies and shut them down.
  3. Possibly do a joint lawsuit agsinst them for harrassment and sue for damages.

Why are we doing this?

Simple, it’s about time someone fight back against this crap.  Scammers need to be stopped, and they keep popping up overnight.  They are also causing a lot of innocent people money and their lives.

All you have to do to be part of this is:

  1. Follow us on twitter.  We will do a mass message and tell you when we will be mass calling them back.
  2. Keep a track of all the scammers who call you.  Write down the time of the call and the name of the person you spoke with.

Wachovia Bank SUCKS

Don’t use Wachovia for business banking.  This is as simple as it goes.  We’ve been using wachovia for doing business for over 6 years now.  In our experience we’ve lost thousands of dollars over the years and 1 big repeat customer.  When it comes to doing International Trading where you find customers overseas who wants to buy items from you in the U.S., it’s important to have a good bank that can stand behind you and back you.  We had a situation in the past where we did an order for over $60,000 with one client.  That client was from overseas and wanted to buy a couple containers of computer equipments.  Thanks to Wachovia bank, the transaction fell through due to the LACK OF from their international trade department.  This transaction required the use of a transferrable Letter of Credit that was issued.  We felt so bad for the client becuase they issued the LC and flew around the world to meet with us to do this business transaction to find out after about 2 – 3 weeks that the transaction would NOT go through even after we got confirmation from Wachovia that everything was ok in the wording of the Letter of Credit.  When we needed to transfer the Letter of Credit they also told us EVERYTHING WAS FINE.  After about 48 hours after the transfer began, they then told us that transaction would NOT GO THROUGH due to the wording of the Letter of Credit.  Now, this is from a bank that was sitting on this L/C for all that time and we told them the nature of the business along with the process.   Thanks to Wachovia bank, we lost that client and repeat business every quarter… meaning the customer was to place orders like this every 3-4 months.

For those of you who knows and understands international business, not every customer will fly thousands of miles around the world to meet with you if they were NOT serious about business.  To summarize, this client had to meet a deadline with a university they had a contract with.  Because of Wachovia, we never heard from this customer again by email or phone.  Plus they may have lost their university client that bought all these items from them.

When doing business use a bank that is NOT in financial trouble and have advanced experience in the international arena.  Most of us USA business don’t do business solely in the US, we have clients overseas.  With the way the US economy is right now, finding global clients is a very good idea.  Using a bank like HSBC or Citibank is a great choice when it comes to anything in the international business area.  They are much larger and have a better understanding where that is concerned.  They may treat you differently because they are much bigger, but what we all really want is MONEY.. not customer service.  We want to make money and know that the money is safe.  To really look at things from a different level, we are in business to make money and not customer service.  We would rather see higher interests on our money in our accounts rather than higher customer service and lower interest.  When it comes to paying bills, can you pay them with money or customer service?

If wachovia does see this information posted ,we have all the proof and witnesses to show your incompetience and our loss.  The purpose of you being the bank is to ensure safety of our money and to help us make more money.  Ultimately, you make money when we make money.

Are Antivirus Companies good or bad?

Are antivirus companies good or bad?  This is one of those catch 22 questions.  Here is one interesting perspective that most people don’t look at.  If I were the antivirus company and I wanted to make sure that I was always in business, wouldn’t I write viruses and spread them so that people get infected, then write and antidote for them.  This way I could charge people for this Antivirus / Antidote and make money off this EVERY YEAR.

Or here is another situation.  If I don’t want to get my hands dirty, wouldn’t it make sense to hire rogue companies or agents to write these viruses so that they can spread them on the internet, then I can sell my antivirus removal database or tools and ALWAYS BE IN BUSINESS.

Even in our real world, I believe that some pharmaceutical companies actually develop viruses so that they can INVENT vaccines.  This way they will never be out of business.  In any business, in order to make it big, there must be a NEED and a SUPPLY.  What if you wanted to speed things up, then you speed up the process of creating that need and just happen to have the supply on hand.  It’s like knowing a natural disaster is going to hit, and having all the resoures to fulfill that demand when it happens.

Back to the issue at hand.  Can we really trust these Antivirus Companies?  In all our years of being in the Information Technology field, we’ve NEVER seen so far any major antivirus company go out of business.  EVEN BANKS go out of business.  Isn’t that something strange?

When a major virus spread who are the ones who ALWAYS BENEFIT?  Surely not the innocent victims, but only the money hungry companies.

To keep your computer safe from virus, you simply keep it off the internet and be careful of the removable devices like floppies, cd’s, zip drives, thumb drives etc.

I’m not saying all of these companies are bad, I’m just saying it’s a very GREY AREA and many people don’t talk about it.

Join us for part 2 soon.

Card Holder Services SCAM ALERT

There is a company called “Card Holder Services” that is calling people by random. This is believed to be another credit card scam companies out there who register names close to the real companies to scam people. BEWARE. They’re all fraud. The last call came from a person by the name of Rachael from 402-982-0664. It’s a scam people.

If the credit card company want to lower your interest rate, do you think they would actually call you?

Don’t you think they make more money to have you pay them more fees (illegal interest rates – also known as usery) rather than trying to save you money? They are in the business of making money, so why would they call you to tell you that you can save money. Most likely, the WILL NOT. You are the one who really have to call them and talk with them.

Stay away from all these fraud companies. They just want to get your personal information and clean you out. Clean you out means, rob you blind.

Credit Card SCAMS – Beware of Card Services

Credit Card SCAMS are getting more crafty. There is one company out there called “Card Services” which are NOT the real “Card Services.” Here is what they are doing and BEWARE.

They formed a name just like the real Card Services, but they are the fake scammers. They get a VOIP server and buy a phone number from a provider, maybe someone who can allow call masking and they bounce their calls off different servers and make scam calls. I’ve called the real company to report this. But to be frank, they really don’t care. At least that’s the feedback I got. I even went as far as giving the phone number the scammers called from and playing the welcome message that says, “thank you for calling card service.”

How they get your information? Well ask the banks. Since they CLAIM that your information is secure and they CLAIM that they employ the best security measures. Well if that’s the case, why when the fake card services called and you asked them how they got your information.. and their reply is “from your bank.”

Lately they’ve been security breaches from the bank side and even from some of the stores. You could go and buy food from your favourite restaurant who employ crappy security measures on their PC’s. Basically you find a lot of companies slack off by having their employees browse sites that can cause a security threat on the machines themselves, then they process your credit card on the machine that is infected. This then leaks out your information to God knows who. In this case it can be companies like “Card Services”, the fake ones that is.

It can also be leaked in other ways like people like the fake Card Services buy your information from Hackers who create crafty softwares that they give you for free, then they lurke on PC’s and spread the infection by the MASS. This can really go deep.

The safe way these days is to “USE CASH.”

You can also use a pre-paid credit card. Basically cards that you just load some money in. These are normally disposable cards.

Stay TUNED for more info on this topic. Basically since no one is doing nothing about this. Well we’re gonna blow the whistle on this and MANY other things.

We are PISSED off that no one gives a whottie and the blowfish about stuff like this. All we hear are LIES.

It’s time for the liers to cut the crap and proove it. Give us security.

If even the banks are not secured then what’s the sense of putting your money there? Might as well put it under your bed and make sure the ants and roaches don’t get to it first.

Anyways, back to the issue… check back again because we will go deeper.

Here are some videos found on youtube that shows the scams in action:

Bitdefender VS Malwarebytes

In a recent lab test, we decided to see what software is better at finding Malware.  On a machine running Bitdefender we decided to install and run Malwarebytes to see if it would pick up anything.  And it did.  Bitdefender has been sitting on:

Trojan.Downloader

Trojan.FakeAlert

Disable.SecurityCenter

Malwarebytes picked up this malware and removed them.  What is so amazing is that, this sofware is FREE compared to the Internet Security Suite of Bitdefender that we purchased.  These days, it’s coming to our attention that these free software are really not that bad.  Even AVG Free edition is now very competitve compared to Bitdefender.

It is sad to say that Bitdefender’s standards have drastically dropped since the last six months.  There WERE ranked high in our book as a highly recommend antivirus software, but now we take it back.

Read our next article and we will tell you why.
